Tristan (TJ) is our Centre Manager. TJ has worked here for many years and in 2020 became our Centre Manager.
TJ loves nature, natural materials, loose parts, reusing and repurposing, upcycling, and creating beautiful environments using what the world offers. It is with this influence, that Nurturing Hearts provides a centre that is all about bringing the real world in and making our space a space that reflects home.
Jessica, a great introducer of art, creativity, and sensory play, is our Deputy Manager. She is based in the Teina room, alongside Barjinder; who has a caring, warm and inviting aura, and LG; our smiling, calm kind Kaiako from the Philippines.
In our Tuakana space, Kay is our reflective, knowledge gatherer, and works alongside Larence; our energy, music and song sharer.
We also have Christina, who as well as being an ECE Teacher in training, works across all spaces, supporting the team and ensuring the fostering of respectful relationships with tamariki and whanau.
We also often see Su, our Operations Manager, who whilst always with an eye on compliance, also loves to visit to play with our tamariki, share ideas with kaiako, and spend time here with us enjoying the spirit of Nurturing Hearts.
