Teina Room
Our space for our under three’s is slow and calming, responding to the needs and routines of our little ones. ‘Care moments’ is how we see routine times such as eating, nappy changing, sleeping, resting. We take time and nurture the importance of our care for them and their growing independence in self-care.
Kai times are shared as small group meal times so we can spend time supporting eating and sharing conversations. Just like we do at home.
Building friendships, confidence and finding our place and interest in the world around us starts here.
Our Teina tamariki observe the older Tuakana tamariki challenging themselves and engaging with our environment. That motivates them and gives them ideas to give things a go as they move towards independence.
