Before your child’s settling process they will be assigned a Kaitiaki (Guardian). This Kaitiaki is the person responsible for getting to know your family and your child.
We have two key events in the year that bring our whanau all together.The first is Matariki. An evening of wrapping up warm. getting together and celebrating our centre.
We value meal times as a time to come together.Kai time is an opportunity to help to strengthen the relationship between child and teacher, a time to build trust and get to know one another. During mealtimes we provide children with real equipment, glass jars and china plates.
With our long term kaitiaki; TJ, Asta, Lin and Alison, joined by our newer ehoa, Su, as Operations Manager, and Niki, Anastasia and Lana, as Nurturing Hearts team, we are a centre embarking on a new journey.
